Former Bears Player Charged With Domestic Battery
" CHICAGO (STMW) – Former Chicago Bears wide receiver David Terrell was charged with domestic battery and was being held on $10,000 bond Saturday.

Terrell, 33, was arrested Friday about 1:40 p.m. after he allegedly grabbed a 25-year-old woman during an argument at his apartment in the 1700 block of South Michigan Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli.

The woman left the apartment and contacted police after she checked into Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, Mirabelli said. The woman had bruises on her neck, chest and arms, Mirabelli said, adding that she was treated and released.

The 6-foot-3, 212-pound former wide receiver is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail after a Saturday morning bond hearing, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s office.

His next court date is scheduled for April 30.

Terrell’s attorney, Shady Yassin, said he expects his client will post bond and be released from jail by the end of Saturday "
