Andrew Langi: 2nd Place Autumn Bowl Jam

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

Last weekend, Andrew headed out to the east coast for the Autumn Bowl Jam in Brooklyn. While there he made it worth his while taking home 2nd place and skating in ways that only he can.

This is what ESPN’s Adam Salo had to say about Andrew’s skating

“Some highlights from all the skating that went down included… Andrew Langi doing nosegrind pop ins, frontside flips and head high madonnas in the bowl’s 7-foot deep end…”

Andrew really rips, if you haven’t seen this him in real life brace yourself when you do.

Andrew Langi Wins Mini Ramp at ASR

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

Andrew won a grip of money at ASR, but despite reports by Transworld it probably won’t be going towards fixing that tooth…

Team News Bits

Thursday, August 13th, 2009

-DVS Demo: Check out Ricky Webb and Carlos Zarazua at a Val Surf Demo in Pedlow Park. Skateboarder magazine has got a slideshow up.

-Draw Langi: For all of you that have been drawing pictures of Andrew Langi lately (weird) now you’ve got a chance to win one of these very limited LRG x Kayo decks.

All you’ve got to do is draw your favorite LRG skateboarder and send the picture to susan@timebomb.bc.ca so of course you’ve already got plenty of drawings of Andrew and now all you’ve got to do is the emailing part.

-Skate & Create: Keep an eye out for the upcoming Skate & Create II. There’s lots of potential Force Trucks riders in there. You might get to see Walker Ryan with C1RCA, Marquise Henry with DC, but I doin’t think that Devine managed to make it out with Etnies, from what I saw on their site. Keep checking back for more info on this event and all the other news as it comes out.

Andrew Langi: Coastal Carnage

Sunday, August 9th, 2009

So the Coastal Carnage contest went down recently with a great set up and an even better line up of skaters. Andrew Langi headed down for Coastal Carnage and even though he didn’t place first he effortlessly hit tricks in the bowl that were unlike anything anyone else was trying.

Just check out this nose manny that the guys over at LRG thought deserved best trick.

And I can’t say that I disagree with them.

And then there was this shot of Andrew popping over the extension.

Wow, throwing a kickflip into that transfer, just wow.

He may have finished 12 but if it were up to us we’d knock that 2 off the side.

Ukiah Trip: Better Late than Never

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

So a couple of weeks ago after “Back to the Berg” we rolled out to Ukiah California. We were rolling deep with 15+ people, 4 cars, 1 photographer, 2 video cameras, 2 team managers, and plenty of bored police officers. A big thank you from Force Trucks goes out to Freedom Skate Shop and owner Justin Capri for letting us crash on the mini ramp and hooking us up with spots in Ukiah. Check out the pictures and captions for the full story of events, and check out the video.

Also check out this short clip in Ukiah

Force Trucks Reno/Fallon Trip

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

This weekend Ricky Webb, Andrew Langi, Josh Bozzuto, Ben Watanabe, Tadashi, and Justin Williams headed out to Reno and Fallon for the opening of Classic Skateshop. It was a good trip and everyone definitely enjoyed getting to hang out with all the supporters out in Fallon. There was some trouble at the shop opening with a kid getting thrown on the ground and arrested by a police officer, but he showed up at the park later and still managed to skate. Check out all of the pictures and if you want to know more about any of them just let us know.

Force Trucks: Visitacion Valley Middle School

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

Last Friday (5/22) Justin Williams, Ricky Webb, Andrew Langi, Josh, and I (intern Ben) headed out to Visitacion Valley Middle School to do a demo for some of the kids out there. The school has a nice miniramp hidden in one of the classrooms, so if you’re looking for a new middle school to enroll in or enroll your kids in then check out Visitacion.

Force supporting Fallen Demo x Skateworks

Monday, May 18th, 2009

Over the weekend we headed down to Santa Cruz to skate with the Fallen team. It was cool to see everyone skate, but the heat was ridiculous. Sorry there aren’t more pics, maybe next time when we’re used to this heat.
