Buchi Hirotoshi on Force Trucks Japan

This summer our intern Ben went to Japan and skated/hung out with some of the up and coming Japanese riders. While he was there he met up with Kawabuchi Hirotoshi, or just Buchi. Buchi’s been killing it in Japan for years, but not just in Japan cause he’s been traveling all over the world to places like Vancouver and Austrailia. In fact Buchi is pretty good friends not just with our intern but also with some of our riders like Spencer Hamilton and Darrell Stanton.

Spencer had this to say when he found out that his old friend Buchi was joining the team:

“I’ve known Buchi for years now…just from skating the Vancouver plaza a lot we became good friends. Buchi’s amazing, has tricks for days, and great vibes. Welcome to the team homes!”

What is it that little kids say? Something like “takes one to know one,” so if Spencer is giving his stamp of approval Buchi has got to be doing something right.

We’re all psyched to have Buchi repping for us on the Force Trucks Japan Team. Stay on the look out for Buchi, he’ll be on this side of the ocean in no time.
